Scum of the Earth Gallery Space.
Creativity is in my DNA. I'm moved by fine art, great architecture, high jewelry, and innovative fashion. I love the power of expression without words and the emotive response. I also love challenging conventional wisdom. There is creative freedom in that perspective.
I’ve worked with numerous famous jewelry designers over the years. This provided a great environment for developing my artistic vision. It enabled me to harness the real artistic voice inside. So, I began painting to express that voice, realizing a creative dream. I am self-taught and began painting in 2007.
My style is influenced by architecture and personalities. I believe architecture reflects society’s legacy, a reminder of the people and time. It is also unflinching and hard to miss. Likewise, I am fascinated by people and personality. In the age of social media, I have an unending source of priceless material.
All my work uses bold color in recognition of the human lust for life. I have a slightly humorous, if not ironic, view of the world. My goal is to create work that expresses that view. I strive for a signature look in every piece. I believe art should be striking, provocative, easy to embrace, and bring joy. Thank you for visiting.

This pair were my modern interpretation of Barbie and Ken. Definitely captured the modern version of a classic.
